|Let me tell you about myself. My name is Roberta (Bobbie) See. I am the mother of two sons Steven and Christopher (being a mother is the best job ever). I currently reside in Anglemont, BC with my husband Geoff.
My birth place was Portage La Prairie, Manitoba. As a child with my family Ken, Helen and younger sister Donna (poo), we lived in several northern communities in Manitoba and Alberta. Since my dad was a bush pilot we had many adventures flying into uninhabited wilderness domains. When I was 12, we moved to Edson, Alberta where I graduated high school, got married and had my children.
As a young girl, I was creative, always working with my hands. This continued over into my adult life. I became a florist and worked doing many different crafts until I found the wonderful world of paints.
I have learned to use oil and acrylic paints to create a combination of abstract and structured art work on canvas. My inspiration comes from different places I have lived, worked and travelled.
Nobody said that being an artist is easy. For myself, it is exciting, passionate, emotional and color therapy. One of many positive experiences of my life. I am so grateful I have the opportunity to be able to create my expressions with the loving support and encouragement from my family, friends and like minded people.
I hope you enjoy my website, and please come back often to see my latest Expressions.
